I loved Conan growing up. I remember having the first 20 issues. Even met many Marvel alumni at Comic conventions in San Francisco in the late 70’s early 80’s like Len Wein, Irv Watanabe and maybe Barry Smith.
Very impressed, and very jealous! The following issue (#25, the first of the John Buscema run) was my intro to Conan, and indeed to sword and sorcery comics in general, very different to the superheroes. I exchanged a few words with Roy Thomas at a con in Bristol a few years ago, seemed like a nice fella.
I have very very few left from that era after many house moves. Luckily there are collected editions and now Marvel Unlimited (although no Conan on there just yet).
Same here but I had a look in the comic boxes that remain and was surprised to find I still have about a thousand comics, when I could have sworn I got rid of most of them!

I was a teenager and I don’t have any comics from then. So sad they were real works of art.

Sold most of my best years ago. The others are scattered to the winds…

Nice. Keep them.
